(SCOPS) South Central Ohio Preservation Society
is a 501(c)(3)organization founded in 1966. Its mission
is to preserve the natural and cultural history in the
South Central Ohio area.
SCOPS was also the main sponsor for the 2004 and 2005 Earth Gatherings and 2006 and 2007 co-sponsor with the Pump House Center for the Arts. SCOPS has supported the festival with donations since 2001.
