Earth Gathering
Hosted and sponsored by
the Chillicothe Art League
with
support from others.
Earth Gathering is a juried-invitational art festival with an Earth Day theme, held annually on the lawn of the Pump House Center for the Arts in Yoctangee Park (historic downtown Chillicothe, Ohio) on the third
Saturday in April.

This event was designed to entertain, educate and inspire the public about nature, creativity, and sustainability through Earth-friendly art, music, food, products and ideas. Quality, affordable hand-made art and great music (from local and regional artists) highlight this 8-hour festival. If severe weather is forecast for Saturday, the event will be postponed until Sunday.

It all follows the annual "Scioto Waterway Cleanup" starting in the annex at 10 a.m.

This is a kid-friendly event.
Please keep it clean--on every level. Alcohol (and drugs) are prohibited park wide. Dogs are no longer permitted in the immediate festival area.

The festival encourages attendees to take a walk downtown and visit our local restaurants, shops and taverns during and after the festival.

Think globally and act locally by supporting:
local & regional art & agriculture
recycling/waste reduction/ conservation/preservation/
restoration/revitalization
renewable energy/ sustainability
and peaceful expression
